Exactly 30 years ago this month, Wendell Packard Jr. took a bold step and faxed a purchase order to Kitamura Machinery for 100 Mycenter 1 VMC’s. Kitamura had another dealer at the time, however Wendell saw their potential, and wanted to get their attention. That facsimile was a game changer for Packard Machinery. Wendell Packard III was please to visit the factory this week, and see yet again what makes Kitamura special. Their proven induction hardening process is just one example.
